The Parthenon

The Parthenon in Nashville's Centennial Park is the only full-scale reproduction of the famous Greek temple. The Athena Parthenos, at 42 feet in height, is the tallest indoor sculpture in the Western world. Originally built for Tennessee's 1897 Centennial Exposition, this replica of the original Parthenon in Athens serves as a monument to what is considered the pinnacle of classical architecture.

Tennessee Aviation
Hall of Fame

The Tennessee Museum of Aviation and Tennessee Aviation Hall of Fame have been designated by the General Assembly as Tennessee's Official Repository and Archive for Aviation History and the state's official Aviation Hall of Fame. The latest honoree is Evelyn Bryan “Mama Bird” Johnson, who is believed to have logged more flight hours than any other living person in the world.
